Viva Chicken came to Squeeze to increase engagement and online orders.
Viva Chicken approached Squeeze with four Fast Casual Peruvian Chicken restaurant locations in South Carolina and Georgia. Our goals for marketing and advertising were to drive in-store sales, increase engagement and orders through their app, increase online orders, and drive more catering sales. Squeeze also operated the digital marketing and public relations campaigns for multiple new location grand openings and early launch phases. Our strategy included Search Engine Optimization, Google Ads, Social Media Advertising, Public Relations, and Social Media Content Creation to maximize local brand awareness, advertise ordering and pickup options, and drive engagement on the app for specials and member benefits.
Given the multiple locations, goals, and potential customer demographics; the marketing and advertising campaigns required a diverse selection of digital media and constant updates to messaging. The Viva Chicken leadership team is data focused and we reviewed campaign data and optimizations with them quarterly to ensure consistent growth and positive return on investment.
Our Strategy
1. Search Engine Optimization
In order to improve Viva Chicken’s Google Search visibility we added and corrected information on Google My Business listings and started with a list of 25 primary keywords for Search Engine Optimization. We performed extensive off page search optimization for those keywords through backlinking and citation campaigns. 2. Digital Advertising Campaign
Squeeze built digital advertising campaigns for Google Search/Display, Facebook, and Instagram. Our approach to advertising included search and maps visibility to capture customers actively looking for Peruvian Chicken, fast casual dining, and similar restaurants. These campaigns capture people who were looking to eat right then.
We also built a multi-tiered brand awareness funnel that started with maximum reach brand awareness campaigns on social media. Those who engaged with brand awareness campaigns were then retargeted with follow on calls to actions through advertising and content and offers through email and in app marketing to maximize our conversion rates.
3. Social Media Campaign
Squeeze created campaigns options to give the client “levers” to pull when needed. These campaigns include calls to action and targets including driving more in restaurant foot traffic, driving engagement with the Viva Insider app/program, driving more website traffic, and driving more online orders. This diverse set of campaigns allows Viva Chicken to prioritize advertising budget towards key metrics based on the business priorities.
