Galpão Gaucho is a fine-dining Brazilian Steakhouse with seven locations across the United States. Celebrated for its authentic Brazilian dining experience, Galpão Gaucho caters to large groups and parties, offering a unique ambiance that combines traditional gaucho culture with modern luxury.
Galpão Gaucho came to Squeeze Marketing with an issue — despite having food that is on par with some of the higher-end restaurants in Charleston and located in a building that can accommodate individuals without reservations, unlike many of these higher-end restaurants, many people were not aware of Galpão Gaucho’s existence since they opened amid the pandemic. The team needed help getting their name and messaging out there and educating the public on what a Brazilian steakhouse is and what makes Galpão Gaucho so special!

Galpão Gaucho’s campaign involved a blend of brand awareness, search, and local advertising on Google. This multi-faceted approach was designed to target potential diners searching for unique dining experiences and drive local foot traffic.

How it started
- Initially, Galpao Gaucho’s growth was mainly through word of mouth and light efforts at traditional marketing channel and public relations. The Charleston restaurant location was relatively new and emerging from COVID with underperforming store revenue and patron volume.
OUR RESULTS
- Post-campaign, Galpao Gaucho experienced a marked increase in diner engagement, with significant growth in store visits, calls from ads, and online interactions. Confirmed store visit conversions started at zero and improved over 2 months to between 1,000 and 8,000 per store, having a massive positive impact on revenue.
3. Expand Beyond Charleston
Based on the success of our Charleston campaigns, in September 2023, Galpão Gaucho added six additional locations. Expanding beyond Charleston allowed us to unify the messaging across all locations and drive nationwide brand recognition. Over the next four months, we had the following results.
